Daniel loved meeting Santa!

And pulling on his beard!

Daniel got a few gifts from Santa and enjoyed the Christmas caroling

So much excitement that he pooped out!

Christmas morning was spent opening gifts as a family before having
breakfast and gifts at Yia Yia and Poppy's and then dinner at
Auntie Peggy and Uncle Ray's

Yes, he is 6 months old, and yes we still wrapped his gifts!

And yes, he was more intrigued by the wrapping paper....at first!

Always studying...

6 months old! (In a blink of an eye)

Time sure flies when you are having fun!  A couple of weeks ago, we went to Daniel's 6 month appointment.  He now weighs 18 pounds, 11 ounces (more like 20 these days) and is 26 inches long putting him at 75% and 50% for weight and height.  He has quickly grown into 9 month clothing.  He is sitting really well to play with toys and loves to babble: yayaya, dadadada, babababa, no mamama yet!  It seems that every day he is doing something new.  One minute he is trying so hard on fours to push his tushy up and the next day he is lunging himself forward in a kind of army crawl.  And one would think all the motivation with new Christmas toys that light up and sing, but no, burp cloths and the vacuum cord really get this kid moving!  He has now expanded his daily menu to include sweet potatoes, peas, pears, bananas and today green beans (made fresh by mommy:)).  While the green stuff sometimes make him shudder and gag, he really is a good eater.  It is so fun to see his little personality taking shape...the way his eyes light up when he sees his daddy, how he smiles and grabs for cousin Jack, and how inquisitive he is looking at a toy, his hands or mommy's necklace.  Oh yeah, and just on Monday....he cut his two bottom teeth!   All in the blink of an eye!
